A €6.7 million project co-funded by the European Union LIFE+ programme to protect active blanket bog on 2,500 hectares of Peak District and South Pennine moorland from 2010 to 2015.The project was led by the Peak District National Park Authority, other project partners were Environment Agency, Natural England, National Trust, United Utilities, Yorkshire Water.
